As XPathScript is growing to be a pretty beefy module, I wanted to collect all its manpages into a manual. So I did the obvious: I wrote a script that...
...uses Pod::Parser to extract the pod from the distribution...
(and YAML::Loader to get a few infos from META.yaml),
...passed it through Pod::DocBook to get a DocBook representation of the document, ...
...massaged it with XML::LibXML...
...used XPathScript to convert the result into LaTeX...
...which finally can be compiled into PDF (*pant* *pant* *pant*).
The L
doesn't look too bad, I am tempted to say.
I.
It's been a little bit over a year that CPAN thinks
XPathScript is stuck at version 0.16. Which, considering that it has
climbed up to version 1.45 since, it getting slightly irritating.
I tried pretty much everything I could think of to fix
the problem on my end, not to avail. So time to get the big guns: I've
reset the version to I and forced a re-indexing. CPAN,
dodge that.
In related XPathScript news, a new -- and much purtier --
xpathscript demo for axkit2 has been
sent Matt's way. Also, the L is back online.
In unrelated news: on my system CPANPLUS bloats to B?! Ay
caramba!
